In the Goutte d'Or neighborhood in the north of Paris, everyone is trying to find where they fit in. By night, an underground gang of children roam the streets. Ramses, a swindler posing as a clairvoyant, offers consolation and sells dreams. A vertiginous phantasmagorical tale.

"When the door is closed, the devil disappears - I answer the devil in the devil's tongue – Who's there with you? – No one, just passing shadows." Cogitore – an interdisciplinary artist, photographer and director who staged Les Indes Galantes at the Paris Opera – switches between contemporary art and film. This organic crime movie sees a night-time stroll and a series of encounters. It is set in Goutte d'Or, a neighborhood in north Paris and a turbulent character in its own right. Here you can buy anything: smokes, meds, stolen goods, you name it. The territories are established, it's a matter of survival. Everyone is trying to find their place, like the kids from Tangier left to their own devices, or Ramsès, who works as a medium and who scams his customers by consoling them with the voices of the dead.
