Maggie and Eddie have been inseparable since childhood. But when Maggie falls into depression, things get complicated: Eddie feels powerless in the face of her friend's illness, while her friend has no choice but to learn to live with it. This comedy is as much a hymn to friendship as it is a cry of alarm about a condition that is all too rarely tackled on television: bipolarity. Big Mood's blend of British humor and drama is as hilarious as it is touching, thanks to a remarkable duo of actresses: Lydia West (It's a Sin) and Nicola Coughlan (The Bridgerton Chronicles), both brilliantly honest and sincere.
