Danish/Swedish series Bron (2011) has been adapted in several countries, and here’s the latest one: the German/Austrian version. Although Pagan Peak is inspired by Bron, it distinguishes itself thanks to its characters and atmosphere. Situated in the cold, harsh mountains on the border between Germany and Austria, it nevertheless keeps a faint glimmer of hope alive. An excellent production enhanced by the brilliant performance of Julia Jentsch.
