Through a device entitled Nerd_Funk, artist duo Ali Eslami and Mamali Shafahi explore the immateriality of the web, the flow of images from social networks, the digital chaos generated by the overabundance of data. An experience reproduced through this hectic and exciting VR project.

Imagined as an archive of contemporary digital culture, Nerd_Funk is a series of virtual reality experiments created by artists Ali Eslami and Mamali Shafahi. Through a narrative, the body is confronted with a constant flow of digital images retrieved from social networks. A hyper-real work, which makes its way through the chaos created by an overabundance of images and information.
