In 1958 a bomb explodes in front of Sicilian newspaper L’Ora, in which the editorial staff had decided to denounce the crimes of the Mafia. This retro and elegant series takes the audience into the iconic (and true!) story of a free newspaper.
In the 1950s Vittorio Nistico took over the reins of Sicilian newspaper L’Ora. Appalled by the impunity of the local criminal organization, he made the unprecedented choice of naming it in his columns: La Mafia… The retro and elegant reconstruction, the brilliant directing and the fabulous soundtrack plunge the audience into an era when, between courage and recklessness, tragedy and exhilaration, there was but a hair’s breadth.
