SWISS FILMS is pleased to invite you for a coffee break to introduce you to their new initiative, the SWISS IMMERSION database. The most important Swiss XR projects of recent years are now available on the SWISS FILMS website. The database is aimed at festival programmers and will be used for the international promotion of Swiss XR projects.

Nicola Ruffo is Director of SWISS FILMS, the national agency for the promotion of Swiss-made films. After working as head of public programs at Swissnex San Francisco, he is now focusing on innovation and digital transformation in the film industry. Previously, Ruffo worked for a decade and a half as a journalist and innovation expert for Swiss national broadcaster SRF.

As Project Manager of SWISS FILMS Lab, Fatuma Osman is behind several pilot initiatives and innovation projects in areas such as XR (launch of the first Swiss XR database; festival support structures; Swiss XR event at Venice Immersive 23), as well as impact campaigns and video-on-demand (VOD). She is also involved in a number of the Foundation's DCI initiatives.
