TERMS OF SALE
Article 1 – Contractual relations
The responsibility of the supplier (“Ticketack”) towards the buyer is limited exclusively to a role of service provider. The supplier cannot be held responsible for any modification decided by the organizer.
Article 2 – Validation of the order
When you check the box “I have read, understood and accept these general conditions, I want to pay now” when choosing the payment method, you declare to accept these conditions without reserve. The data recorded by the ticketing office are authentic and constitute the proof of all the past transactions.
Article 3 – E-ticket and printing
3.1 – The organizer guarantees the reservation upon presentation to the reception staff of the pre-printed ticket, up to five minutes before the time of the session. After this time, the spectator will lose the guarantee of his reservation. Access to the room will then depend on the availability of seats in the room.
3.2 – The presentation of the ticket to the festival reception staff is imperative. If the ticket is forgotten, lost or stolen, access to the hall will depend on the availability of seats in the hall. It will not be possible to print your reservation on site.
3.3 – The e-ticket is only valid if it is printed on white A4 paper or if it is printed on a sufficiently bright mobile device. The entry to the event is subject to the control of the validity of your e-ticket via the two printed bar codes.
3.4 – Good printing quality is required. Partially printed, soiled, damaged or illegible e-tickets will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. In the event of an incident or poor print quality, you must reprint your PDF file. To check the quality of the print, make sure that the information written on the e-ticket, as well as the bar code, is legible.
Article 4 – Additional information and payment
4.1 – As a general rule, we strongly advise you to arrive no later than 20 minutes before the start of the event.
4.2 – Within the event, the spectators/customers commit themselves to respect the rules of good conduct and safety fixed by the organizer. Furthermore, the acquisition of an e-ticket implies the adherence to the internal rules of the event’s venue.
4.3 – Any other specific information concerning access to the projection rooms (mainly in the event of cancellation) may be sent to the person making the reservation by means of the e-mail address given on the reservation form.
Article 5 – Liability
5.1 – Tickets cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
5.2 – In the event that the event is cancelled by the organizer, the tickets will be refunded by the GIFF Foundation. Any additional costs paid by a third party to travel to the Geneva International Film Festival // GIFF will not be refunded.
5.3 – In the event that the GIFF Foundation cannot, due to extraordinary circumstances, fulfill all or part of its obligations to a third party, this commitment will be cancelled and neither party will be able to invoke any right of compensation.
