In Mentiras pasajeras, our consumerist society, composed of images manipulated to a greater or lesser extent, is revealed as a culture of lies. From these lies, Lucía builds her house of cards, in the hope of proving her innocence whilst hiding the truth from those close to her. A casting dream come true, Elena Anaya, known for her collaborations with Julio Medem (Sex and Lucia and Room in Rome) and Pedro Almodóvar (The Skin I Live In) delivers a magnificent performance as a woman cornered and determined to fight.
