RETROSPECTIVE : BEAU COMME UNE TV QUI BRÛLE

When Fassbinder, Wajda, Godard and Miéville directed series
In the decade following the events of May 68, European television underwent a transformation. In France, Germany and Poland, TV turned to the tearaways of cinema and enabled them to pursue their research. Television soared and imagination took power. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of old-fashioned television, the 24th GIFF will present in their entirety three rare TV series produced by major filmmakers of the 1970s.
