Several months ago Simon Senn purchased the digitized body of a real young woman, Arielle F, on the internet for $12. He ended up finding and meeting her, a student living in England who would become his playmate. Through a long artistic research process, he animates her body, modifies it, and finally mixes it with his own – raising questions of gender, psychology and legality. This disturbing work explores the possibilities and limits of new technologies and offers major reflection on the ethics of the digital world.
