Shadowtime/ ARK creates a virtual replica of reality in the midst of real-world ecological collapse. While drawing parallels between the environmental collapse and the history of VR, the spectator travels through a future-nostalgic tour through completely new and realistic looking virtual worlds which hints at how VR aesthetics could be indistinguishable from the real world.
