Christophe Honoré, author of children's novels, screenwriter, playwright, director, delivers an eminently personal 14th feature film. Based on The Adolescent, one of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's last novels, he has drawn on his history and revived his memory. Shot in 35mm, without nostalgia, the film replaces his memories and is anchored in the present. Lucas is seventeen years old, a red winter envelops his youth and his rebirth. The soundtrack is provided by the famous composer/producer Hanno Yoshihiro aka RADIQ.
