Valerie has a busy life (too busy?): A loving family, her dream job and a second child on the way. Suddenly, overcome by a faint spell, she collapses… Frederic Recrosio has created a delicate series that speaks to the essential.

Forty-something Valeria has an Olympic champion husband who has become a lifeguard, a young son, a father, a brother and a friend who is a lifelong musician and depressive. She is about to have her second child and to become the first Swiss woman to perform a heart transplant on a child. But her hectic life risks being turned upside down when Valeria collapses... Frédéric Recrosio's sensitively rendered series portrays a modern family moving through life with fantasy and determination. An emotionally charged production featuring inspired actors – Audrey Dana and Carlos Leal are fabulous in their complicity and contained fragility.
