Who would have thought that a sock with two ping pong balls would be enough for puppeteer Jean-Claude Issenmann to create the most iconic characters of Télévision Suisse Romande? Since 1981 and for close to the next 20 years, postman Hyacinthe, Mademoiselle Cassis, Albert Le Vert in their shorts and their extraordinary adventures were stalwarts of daily life for the Swiss. The GIFF will show newly restored episodes such as La Vallée des Alberts (The Valley of the Alberts), which uncovers the origin of Albert Le Vert, and the series Boum (Crash) and La Grippe (The Flu).
