In an Estonian mansion, Otto Müller, a rich businessman, organizes his birthday. A magnificent table is set and the family gathers in an oppressive atmosphere. He is murdered that same evening. Eight guests, all suspects. The two detectives in charge of the investigation must unravel a family history as heavy as the thick curtains that adorn the crime scene. A perfectly thought out whodunit that plays with the archetypes of the genre, offering a diabolical plot and a sumptuous staging.
