Agathe Riedinger is no stranger to dealing with the society of appearances from a female point of view, having already placed this highly topical theme at the heart of her short films. For her first feature film, the French director extends this reflection on the exposure of women's bodies through the story of Liane, a young 19-year-old influencer whose ambition, but above all her need to be loved, drives her to audition for a reality show. In addition to taking a non-judgmental look at a generation that has grown up with social networks, Riedinger reveals actress Malou Khebizi, a veritable diamant brut whose ardor radiates from every shot. A promising debut, in both cases!
