ROMCOM LIKE NO OTHER
With
Doria Tillier, François Morel, Anaïde Rozam
In presence of Doria Tillier, Tuesday November 5.
Like everyone else, Iris has a head. Only her head is not exactly like everyone else’s. And neither is her mouth, which says things that other mouths don’t say. And that doesn’t please everyone. Her boyfriend, her cousin, a wine shop owner, a museum guard... the list of people she drives crazy grows longer every day. But in the end, the first to suffer from it is Iris. And love? When you do nothing like others.
“Iris is a woman who says out loud what others don't think!” These are the words with which Doria Tillier, creator and lead performer of this series, defines her character. Iris is a disillusioned schoolteacher and writer, bothered by the fact that she feels alone in a world that doesn't understand her – and vice versa. With its offbeat tone, absurd situations and delightful dialogue, Iris is a breath of fresh air on the audiovisual scene, a delicious, heartfelt comedy that's a veritable ode to difference and to those who don't think like everyone else.
