2025 POster

For this new edition of the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) and its Geneva Digital Market (GDM), the visual identity has once again been entrusted to multidisciplinary artist and 3D designer Andréa Philippon. Following the plant-inspired universe created for the Festival’s 30th anniversary, this year’s visual concept draws from technological aesthetics.

The poster features a structure made up of colorful, transparent, and dynamic blocks forming the GIFF and GDM logos. Their fluid motion embodies the interplay between art, technology, and innovation — the very core of the Festival’s DNA.
This vibrant data wall reflects the collective intelligence and creative synergy that drive the GIFF. Each block interlocks, interacts, and composes a visual language reminiscent of the works showcased: diverse, bold, and interconnected.

This year, I aimed to represent the richness of the interactions that bring the Festival to life. The blocks that form the logos evoke the complexity and beauty of the systems that surround us—networks, data, connections—while remaining rooted in a vibrant and accessible visual world. I sought to create a visual landscape that suggests the flow of information, the circulation of ideas, and the beauty that emerges when data comes to life.
