The artistic program is tailored to the topics covered in class.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AT THE FESTIVAL
32nd EDITION – OCTOBER 30 TO NOVEMBER 8, 2026
For its 32nd edition, the Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF) returns with new offerings designed for school groups. Since 1995, the Festival has presented stories in a variety of formats to the public. Whether in the form of series, films, or, more recently, immersive works in virtual, mixed, or augmented reality (XR), GIFF’s programming seeks to explore the infinite realms of the digital world.
The Festival invites its audience to experience digital works designed to renew our perspective on cinema and new technologies. Each year, GIFF offers in-class workshops and programming initiatives aimed at promoting film literacy and raising awareness of digital creation.
The Festival thus aims to broaden our perspectives through digital media, while providing the tools needed to develop a critical and constructive view of the media.
The festival’s educational program is announced a few weeks before the event.
