Straddling the blurred line between fiction and documentary, Those Who Blush takes an exceptionally intelligent approach through theatre to the curious and complex period of adolescence, an age when expressing oneself fully can be frightening because of the fear of other people's gaze. Here, there's no judgment: the young people discover other ways of working, learn to free themselves and end up giving it their all, without filters. The result? Total immersion in a troupe of high-school students whose performances are astounding in their accuracy and tenderness, and whose performances take us from laughter to tears in a fraction of a second, under the moving gaze of their mentor, Julien Gaspar-Oliveri, who officiates both in front of and behind the camera.
