SWISS SERIES ELECTRIFY THE 2025 EDITION OF THE GIFF
The Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF, October 31 – November 9, 2025) will spotlight three Swiss series in international premieres, ranging from techno-thriller to transalpine crime drama and musical comedy. Reaffirming its mission of promoting national creation, the GIFF offers an international showcase for the dynamism and diversity of Swiss serial production. The full program will be revealed on October 9.

Three Swiss productions will electrify the 31st edition of the GIFF: Intraçables (created by Ami Cohen, Raphaël Meyer, 2025, CH, FR), a gripping techno-thriller set between Geneva and Valais, in co-production with RTS and TF1; La Linea della Palma (Maria Roselli, Mattia Lento, Thomas Ritter, 2025, CH), a feverish Ticinese crime series directed by the talented Fulvio Bernasconi; and En route pour Broadway (Pascaline Sordet, Daniel Wyss, 2025, CH), a jubilant, participative musical comedy released as its production company, Climage, celebrates its 40th anniversary.
SWISS SERIES OF THE 31st GIFF
Co-produced by Akka Films, Empreinte Digitale, RTS and TF1, Intraçables (directed by Louis Farge and Luc Walpoth, 2025, CH, FR) features an international cast. The series will premiere during a special RTS evening on November 1, attended by the artistic and technical team including Sofia Essaïdi, Alexis Michalik, Arcadi Radeff, Irène Jacob and Louis Farge.

Synopsis: Hunted by the police and a mysterious hacker, Giulia and her son embark on a breathless chase through French-speaking Switzerland following the death of the family’s patriarch.

SWISS SERIES STORYTELLING AWARD (SSSA)
The unique swiss award recognizing the most creative narrative universe in serial storytelling, the Swiss Series Storytelling Award (SSSA) returns for its second edition in 2025. With CHF 20,000 in prize offered by the SSA and Suissimage cultural funds, the award will be presented on November 6, ahead of the World premiere of the highly anticipated La Linea della Palma (created by Maria Roselli, Mattia Lento, Thomas Ritter, written by Thomas Ritter, 2025, CH).
